Welcome to my film and stills portfolio.

William Greentree, a communication student, With a Major in both Media Productions and Japanese. His core belief is in the phases “buy books, not gear” (Eric Kim) and “the best camera is the one that with you” (Chase Jarvis). Meaning a photographer should always strive to learn new things and to use the gear you already own to the fullest. He also has collaborated on projects, such as assisting on fashion shoots at Falcon magazine, a Newcastle based fashion magazine and directing a short documentary called “After Hours; Newcastle unplugged” a documentary on the Newcastle music scene. He is currently working on his flagship project “Strangers”, a photo essay featuring everyday people. William likes to combine his knowledge of both static and motion mediums, as a result he displays a distinctive stylistic approach to his work. When he completes his degree in media productions, he plans to travel abroad to create films.
